Shipping Guidelines

Michigan Tech University Images is proud to offer you the most competitive shipping rates. All of our shipments are professionally packed to ensure the safety of your items.

We ship your order as quickly as possible. Most items that are in stock will be shipped within 1-3 business days via UPS. If shipping address is a P.O. Box or order contains small items such as two decals, order will be shipped via USPS. On average, your order will be received in 7 - 10 business days. You have the option in checkout to expedite the shipping method for an additional fee. Shipments may be delayed due to holidays, weather while in transit or other unforeseen circumstances. For time sensitive deliveries and for specific questions about the status of your order, please contact us at uimages@mtu.edu or 800.850.0688.

*Orders that are flagged with an Address Verification Service (AVS) error will be asked to verify additional information. We are not responsible for the delay in processing your order.

CERTAIN HOLIDAYS ARE ALSO UNAVAILABLE FOR DELIVERY.

*UPS Next Day Air service is not always available. If an order is submitted by Midnight EST Sunday-Thursday, University Images makes every effort to ship UPS Next Day Air Service the next business day (not on UPS holidays).

Day of your order - Tuesday
Shipment date - Wednesday
Arrival date for UPS Next Day Air - Thursday
Arrival date for UPS Ground/USPS - within one week of Thursday

Day of your order - Friday
Shipment date - Monday

International Shipping:
Yes, we ship internationally! When you select International Shipping, the shipping fee is ESTIMATED. If we can lower the cost and save you money, we will do so. If the shipping cost is higher than shown at checkout, we will contact you before proceeding with your order. We do not pay taxes, duties, or customs fees. All taxes, duties, and customs fees are the responsibility of the recipient. Return

Merchandise in its original condition may be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase.

Follow these instructions to return Michigan Tech insignia purchases by mail -
Send return merchandise to:

*We suggest using UPS or certified/insured United States Postal Services.

- Include a copy of the original invoice receipt/packing list.

- Indicate if you would like a refund or an exchange.

- Indicate the mailing address for the refund or exchange, and note your phone number and email address.

Refunds are issued in the original form of payment.

How to Order

It is easy. Throughout our site, whenever you see a product you'd like to purchase, simply click "Add to Cart" and the item will be added to your Shopping Basket.

When you are ready to check out:
  1. If you have created an account with us previously, please log in. There is an option to send your password if needed.
  2. If you have not created an account with us, you will need to do this now. It is important that you create your account with an active email address. We will send you a confirmation order number in an email to that address.
  3. Your account information should not be order specific. You should give us your valid contact information.
  4. After you log in, you will be taken to pages where you can enter different shipping or payment options.
  5. You will receive your order number once you have completed the order.
  6. Orders from the Campus Store and University Images must be processed separately. You will need to set up separate accounts in both stores. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but due to the uniqueness of their inventories we are unable to change this at this time.

Payment Options

Online:
For all online purchases we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express or Campus Bookstore/University Images Gift Cards.

In Store:
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We also accept cash, personal checks, travelers checks, Express Cash, and Campus Bookstore/University Images Gift Cards.

Departments: We accept departmental credit cards. We are also able to Inter-account bill your University accounts.  As this is an automated billing, we are able to offer departments discounts on certain items.

Taxes:

We are required by law to collect all taxes based on where your order is being shipped or delivered. When you review your order during the checkout process, you will see an ESTIMATED sales tax. The actual charge to your credit card will reflect the applicable sales tax.
